September 9, 2016

Friday 9th September, 2016: Denny Gold Medal, Ireland’s tastiest sausage, is once again teaming up with Pieta House, this time for the annual Pieta 100 Cycle in various locations around the country this September.

The Pieta 100 Cycle, which is taking place on Sunday 25th September in 10 locations around the country, is an annual 50k and 100k cycle which has seen a huge increase in participants over the last couple of years. In 2015, 1,450 people saddled up to raise almost €100,000 for Pieta House.

Denny Gold Medal will be on hand in Fingallian’s GAA Club in Dublin offering mouth-watering hot breakfasts to the deserving participants of the gruelling 50 and 100k cycles.

Speaking ahead of the event, Siobhan McNickle, Marketing Manager in Kerry Foods said ‘We’re delighted to be teaming up with Pieta House for this fantastic cause. It’s hugely important to the team at Denny to get out into our communities and do good through our brand. For anyone taking part in the Pieta 100 Cycle in Dublin – keep an eye out for us where we’ll be serving up some delicious Denny Gold Medal Sausage rolls!’
